Good Hands Safaris idea was conceived in Orlando, Florida where Dory Anna
Richards-a prominent business lady in Portland, Maine (USA), Martin Waweru –a
native Kenyan with a wide experience in tour guide, and David Karanja- a masters
degree holder in Hotel and Restaurant Management majoring in tourism (USA)
had a vision that would transform the touring industry in East Africa for ever. The trio has traveled extensively all over the world and their wealth of experience
prompted them to develop a product that is different from the rest of the competitors.
Thus, Good Hands Safaris idea was developed with the sole purpose of identifying
suitable means of satisfying this market need. Having discovered this marketing
niche, they decided to come up with Good Hands Safaris company long-term plan,
which exemplifies one on one customer service. They also agreed that it would
not be easy and thus a lot of groundwork was needed to position the company
differently from the rest of the competitors. It took them a whole two years
to do a feasibility study, device a plan and implement it. This transformation
from an idea into an opportunity could be likened to the process of making
good soup. At the end of the day, they had developed the perfect product to
meet the customer’s needs. It is their hope that you will give Good Hands
Safaris a chance to walk you through this wonderful place called Africa.
In order to enhance global business and to bring our traditional state of
the art customer services closer to our clients, Good Hands Safaris has established
three offices in different locations worldwide. Our business offices are ran
by three dedicated directors namely; Martin Waweru and David Karanja based
in Houston, Texas, Simon Turuga in London (UK) and David Njau in Nairobi (Kenya).
