Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Kenya and Tanzania located in the African continent?

Africa is the second largest continent in the world where a lot of natural beauty has not been discovered or exploited by modern man. Kenya and Tanzania lie to the east of Africa and off the shores of the Indian Ocean. The inhabitants of this region speak in over 150 different dialects. Kiswahili dialect is the most common language.

How do you organize the safaris?

We are like family. We have crewmembers with a lot of respect, high qualifications, and experience. The combination of these factors have enhanced and touched the lives of those that have come on board with us. Our desired goal is not based on quantity business but on personalized quality, and experience sharing safaris.

How do I plan for my trip?

Always travel light! Our safaris consist of small twine-engine charter planes and therefore big suitcases cannot be accommodated. Weight is of great concern and as such we recommend the use of duffel bags instead for ease of travel. Most of the places you visit do not require a dress code therefore pack most of your casual clothing. At nights it gets a little chilly and your well-packed jacket comes in handy.

When is a best time to travel?

March, April and May are cold and rainy months. The rest of the year is cool and dry except December when we have the short rains. The most desired time of year to visit Kenya is July through September and December through February in Tanzania. Tourists are likely to get the best of their travel since this is the peak period of Wildebeest and Zebra migration.

We highly recommend temporary travel insurance, which you can, either purchase from your insurance company or we can easily do it for you through our agent for a little extra fee. Please contact us for details.

What types of vaccinations do I need?

Please contact your primary health care professional for an update on your Hepatitis A and Tetanus shots. Yellow fever vaccinations are required for visitors to Kenya and Tanzania. Please contact your health professional for details of what you need before your departure.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions or concerns.
