Tosha Deluxe Golf Safari experience in Kenya is unique in so many ways. Although not the most sophisticated, it is one of the most challenging experiences since our itinerary takes from high altitude Mt Kenya Golf Club to low altitude (sea level) Leisure Lodge and Golf Resort at the Kenya’s beautiful coral reef coastline. In Mombasa you can scuba dive in the clear waters of Indian Ocean or wallow in volcanic mud, which has skin healing and toning properties at Chale Island as seen on BBC.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at JKIA international airport, Nairobi where you will be met by our ghsafaris crew members and transferred to a 5 star Luxury golf resort, Windsor Golf and Country Club-the only member of the Great Golf Resorts of the world for your overnight stay. The 18 holes, par 72 champion courses have sprinklings of water hazards and bunkers to make it a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The lush fairways are lined by forests where you might spot some colorful monkeys and tens of hundreds different species of birds.

Day 2

After your sumptuous buffet breakfast you will assemble at the lobby for briefing and orientation by your tour manager before heading out to explore the lush grounds of the course as you acclimatize. Lunch will be served at 11.00 am before heading out to Rift valley lodge and golf resort for overnight stay with a city tour enroute. The resort is located on a hill set against a backdrop of Lake Naivasha and the extinct volcano, Mt Longonot. The well irrigated fairways, lush and springy green course was designed by Swede Thomas Fjastadt. The lodge also offers bird and nature walks, mountain biking horse riding and other friendly activities for kids.

Day 3

Full day at the golf resort ‘Social heart of Rift valley’ playing and exploring the magnificent floor of the Great Rift Valley with a game ran later in the evening at Hell’s gate National Park and optional boat ride with sporadic photographing opportunities.

Day 4

After breakfast off to Lake Nakuru National park, ‘worlds heritage site’ is one of the most scenic parks in Africa and famous for millions of pink and white flamingoes among other migratory and non-migratory birds. Overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5

Off to the luxurious Mt Kenya safari club for the 9 hole/18 tee/par72 golf courses, the beautiful short course set at the foot of the snow capped Mount Kenya and lined by tall mountain fig trees. Lush and hilly the course is a series of interesting par 3 holes on which players may use a range of irons ranging from a 3 iron to pitching wedge off the tee. Other activities include trout fishing, horse riding, swimming, tennis and treasure hunts. Animal orphanage is also located in the club grounds.

Day 6

Morning at leisure with optional activities, which includes playing golf and a visit to Nanyuki weavers-a handcrafted rug factory. Overnight stay at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.

Day 7

Early morning breakfast and a drive to the airstrip for a flight to Maasai Mara-the prime wildlife park in Kenya christened as the ‘Kenya’s milk ran’. The flight will take forty-five minutes to an hour. Your overnight stay at Mara Safari club which lie on the shores of the Mara River known for hippos and crocodiles. The unique luxurious tented camp is filled with modern amenities including hot shower tabs and double beds.

Day 8

Morning and evening game runs with an optional balloon ride and a visit to a Maasai village. Overnight stay at Mara Safari Club

Day 9

Early breakfast before departing to the airstrip for a small flight to Nairobi arriving on time for lunch at the carnival restaurant. Later in the afternoon transferred to JKIA International airport for a flight to Mombasa and transferred to Leisure lodge and Golf Resort. Popularly known as the ‘golfers Paradise’ lie on a coral reef 10 meters above sea level and at Kenyans holiday paradise, Diani Beach. Mombasa is an island located off the coast of Indian Ocean with an old cultural historical surprises and white fine crystal sands beaches dazzling with luxurious hotels.

Day 10

All day at leisure playing golf and water sports which includes deep water diving, windsurfing, canoeing and crystal white sands bathing. Later in the afternoon you will have a city excursion which includes a visit to Old town’s biggest attraction, The Fort Jesus.

Day 11

After breakfast transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Nairobi connecting with a flight home later in the evening.
